Goodyear Blimp

To jsoergel : you were a great contributor for this event. Anyone who used those frequencies in their scanners certainly enjoyed what they heard ! Nice job!!
Prior to Saturday's show around 9:30-10:00 AM the Goodyear Blimp made an appearance in downtown Cleveland and close to the lakefront and air show. Heard some brief but "lively" chatter on 123.050 from their pilots. Not sure if it was the "new" or latest Airship out for a spin or not as could not see the tail numbers. Always cool to see the Blimp ! Anyone else see or hear?

It was Goodyear's newest, the Wingfoot Three. Just put in service in June. It actually came to the air show and did manuevers on the runway, including a touch-n-go! It was a fantastic surprise!
