I am receiving a lot of the CSP transmissions very garbled. I have locked my radio on a single control frequency to test. The RSSI hovers between -65 and -70. Likewise, the voice channel is usually equal. Despite this, I have seen the D-ERROR climb to 30 or more. The audio becomes unreadable, yet the dispatcher acknowledges the transmission.

I know there are filter settings, but I am not sure how they work and what the downside will be if I change them. Has anyone adjusted their filters for this system to correct a similar issue?

Thanks

You're likely getting interference into the voice channel frequencies. By changing the filter, you're effectively filtering out the interference. These scanners are notorious for overload issues.
