I am in Sentinel. I changed it for my local tower frequency. Now, can I change it for one talkgroup on one trunked system? I want to change it now and add it to the profile tomorrow. Or is the volume offset only for channels and not talkgroups? I read your comment above but the s/w won't accept a change for one talkgroup. Thanks for reading.
You can set a volume offset for single talkgroups, whether you want all of them (for a specific department), or just a single TGID.

On the SDS100, you have a Volume Offset setting for each frequency and talkgroup for raising or lowering the audio level. If AM is low, set the offset to +1, +2, or +3 as needed for each frequency.
I am doing it wrong then. I
Open Sentenal, (radio not connected), open
Up my state’s DB, drill down to me agency, find the system and then the agency, LCCA in my case, find the entity, my fire department and then it’s talkgroup. I attempt to modify the field under that group but if I try to enter something there, it rejects changes. How do I open the field up for a change? Thanks. Yes, haha, I have read the paper manual and the online easier to read manual. I’m stumped

I make changes on volume offset directly on the keyboard of the radio the same way I would do a temporary or permanent avoid.

Hold on the object you want to change. Press function then toggle zero and that will take you through negative 3 to positive 3. It's as simple as that.

The next time you hook up to Sentinel make sure to transfer your data card first thing into your profile and that will save all of the changes you've made directly on the keyboard so after you do your business on Sentinel and transfer the card back to the radio it will have the original changes you made on the keyboard permanently saved.

I am looking in the user manual on how to hold on that talkgroup. If I can get it held, I'll try your idea. So, while it is dispatching, what do I push? I don't see it in the manual. Hummm....

And this will work on a trunked tg? Not just conventional ???
