Sorry, Rak ... I was away from the forum for a couple of days.
155.325 MHz is F.M.
Also, anytime you note a PL tone included, it will be F.M. (or narrow F.M.).
CMC and Med Center Air can also communicate on 123.050 MHz (A.M.), but these comms will not be patient-oriented.
You may also hear med helos from other facilities calling CMC on 123.050 when they are transiting this area, or enroute to CMC. You may also hear air comms unrelated to medical helicopters and EMS.
Besides CMC and Med Center Air, here's some other public safety agencies (and their PL tones) you might hear on 155.325 MHz under the right conditions:
DPL 023 - Long County (south Ga) Fire and EMS Dispatch
123.0 - Greene Co (east Tn) EMS
136.5 - unid hosp paging system in central NC
146.2 - Twin County Comm Hosp paging in Galax (southern Va)
179.9 - MeduCare helo out of MUSC in Charleston, SC
186.2 - Screven County (northeast Ga) EMS
192.8 - Wilkes County (north-central Ga) EMS
203.5 - Murray County (northwest Ga) Rescue
203.5 - unid hosp paging (Macon Co, NC ?)
Wilkes County EMS was audible with a stronger signal here than CMC last Tuesday morning, when they are working a 10-50 near Washington. Life Net 6 (anyone know what facility they are working out of) transported one patient from the landing zone near the scene. Emory 2 was also requested, then told to stand down.
BTW - Lancaster Co EMS and rescue units also have 155.325 / 91.5 in their radios, as their channel 6. The primary use is for direct comms with Med Center Air, although they use CareForce out of Columbia just as often. Sometimes, you might hear Lancaster units using the channel, though, for quick conversations.
Tift County, Ga Police also have 155.325 / 91.5 for tac use, although I believe they are in the process of moving to 800 trunking.
