Hello. I was doing a google search last night for CN Timetables for around my area here in Ontario Canada. When I did I came across this site with a PDF file of a map of the Bala Subdivision, but it was just a little bit of it, and it looks like it came from some type of book. I am going to post 2 pictures of it and one of the pictures is from the site of the pdf file. And seeing if anyone on here might have it, but the full Bala Subdivision and also of the Ruel Subdivision.

If anyone does, so I can print it off, I am a rail fan, and just to have to look at.

let me know.

thanks

Ok, that is for the Timetables. But was seeing if anyone has a map of those 2 subdivisions I mentioned for here in Ontario like I showed in that picture. That kind of map.

Ok thanks and no that’s not it. It’s not a former railroad it’s CN only. I was looking for what I showed in the pic, that exact map showing the subdivision in the picture and the other one I mentioned. Someone has it if they were able to post it on the internet, since that is where I got the picture from.

so maybe someone does. If they do, let me know.

thanks

Are you looking for a track chart? They are very detailed and are used by MoW forces to maintain the track. Track charts are generally not as widely available as employee timetables (ETTs).

That was kinda something but not what I was looking for. It’s what I showed in my picture, that exact map/track layout. That is what I am looking for.

But if no one has that to share, then it’s all good. Just thought I would ask and see.

If anyone does, then let me know.

thanks

Radioguy789,

The map you seek is a leaked copy of a CN internal map available only to employees as a reference while on the road.

Now that CN has switched to tablets its will be very hard if not difficult to obtain such items now. They have all been put into PDF format and the employees just load up the areas they need rather then carry around a 5 inch binder full of items.

The only way you may find the rest is if you can connect with an employee who is nice enough to share his paper copy with you if he/she still has it.

What you're looking at is a train handling chart or a "Fog Chart".

They're often found on union websites. Official ones aren't usually publicly released.

Ok thanks. And oh k, didn’t know they switched to tablets now and everything is on there now. And yah you are probably right a lot easier than carrying around a binder full of stuff like that. And yah guess that is what I will have to do and ask a friend if they have a copy of that map and can share it with me.

Ok thanks for the info.
