So far today, Tuesday, I have heard the following Coast Guard stations and units working on 8983 kHz USB.
CAMSLANT
Sector New Orleans
Cutter Pamlico, made cruise up Missippi River and back
The following are aircraft
CG 2135, a falcon jet
CG 2114
CG 2127
CG 2134
CG 2136
CG 2133 this plane was not working the disaster, out over the Atlantic
Also picked up radio traffic on 8962 kHz, but some of the station are encrypted, get a really weird sound when the transmit.
