A few years ago the Coast Guard put on a new channel numbering system for instance 21A changed to 1021, 22A to 1022, etc. It was an official chart at the time itr was said to make room for new narrowband channels possibly or something else. O have looked at charts since then and see the new numbering system but neither Sector Delaware Bay or Sectory DNR, etc.

ITU has a plan to narrow band Marine VHF, and farther down the road, plans to go to 6.25KHz digital. But that's a long ways out.

Not sure many people are actually using the new channel numbers yet.

I think it will be a long time before the new channel names are used with the amount of older VHF marine radios on vessels and not being replaced too often.

Between CG units they just their LMR P25 channels.

Have you tried the Wiki
Marine VHF Band Plans - The RadioReference Wiki

And it will be a long time before many folks actually begin to use them, due to the older radios - "still working"
BTW it was the FCC with the ITU, likely in concert with the Coast Guard, not just the USCG

And with the CG using their own LMR P25 Nets in VHF/UHF they [Sectors] will likely use the most common channel name when making broadcasts, until more radios get out in use. [Long long long time in the future]
