Cobb County DTRS new TG

Been listening to 30213 with Engine 1 working a house fire w/ entrapment. Sounded like a training exercise, but no listing for this group. Does fall into the CCFD group.

BTW - I stated it is on the COBB DTRS as there is no such thing as the AUASI!

Mike - I confirmed today - and have submitted it as a change to the RR database - that 30213 IS a CCFD Training talkgroup. Good catch

After leaving the HS football game tonight, I heard the exact same scenario on that channel tonight! That really seals that one!

I heard the same thing. I had wondered why they had that talkgroup on the analog system but never used it, they always used FG8.

Word from someone inside is:

If they (CCFD) are training at the tower they generally use the training channel or ITAC. However, if they do a joint training with another agency (MFD or SFD) they generally use FG8 since those agencies don't have the training talkgroup.
