Revits rt3s and revits programing software

Did you read any of the comments in the other thread of yours?

As explained in that thread, what you have is NOT a scanner. That alone will almost guarantee there is not a code plug for your area as the radio is only Dmr and specific to just 2 bands.

Ok ok do u have a code plug for Ballarat
I do not.

And being that the radio you have is a DMR Transceiver, specific to two bands only, I seriously doubt you will ever find a codeplug to suit your scanner needs.

Noah2: You have been told in two threads on this board that the radio you have is in fact NOT a scanner and is sold as a a DMR/Analogue radio (Transceiver) for ham radio operators.

I know this as fact as I use the exact same one for APRS on one of the amateur radio networks. My suggestion is talk to the place of purchase and let them know that they have deceived you in what you thought you were purchasing and get your money back. If this is not an option feel free to DM me for discussion, as I could always use another one.

Its a ham radio and I seriously doubt you will find any hams that have codeplugs for tow truck frequencies. People buy ham radios to talk to other hams.

Do you have the programming cable? I mean you first posted a week ago. You could have in under an hour, downloaded the programming software and had it programmed already. What range are these tow truck freqs in?

Really hope that software has the ability to inhibit the transmit function. I would be ashame to get caught accidently transmitting on freqs you have no business transmitting on.

I believe what Noah will be looking for is a DMR T3 System in that region, so even if he were to program in the voice frequencies, he wouldn't be able to easily listen to tow trucks.

Noah, you need at minimum a UBCD436PT to achieve what you want

EDIT: After a quick look through the ACMA frequency register, I couldn't find anything specifically related to tow trucks, and there doesn't appear to be a trunked network with range out that far. It's likely licenced under someone else or they are using mobile phones and tablets (common in the tow truck industry here).

I installed and played with the programming software for that radio and if he has no experience with this type of thing, he will not get much further.

He would also need the DMR upgrade with the Uniden.
