Code9 used by O.P.P?

Last night I heard Cod 9 used by the O.P.P in a weapons call. Does anyone know what Code9 means?

I think he said"Ill get the Code9 vehicle". The call was for a possible AK-47 hanging out of someones backpack.

Code 9 is an unmarked vehicle. This vehicle is usually used for traffic patrol. The vehicles are normally brown, or silver Crown Victorias. No decals, but it usually has strobes in the back window and above the mirror in the front widshield. In that case they would want to get as close to the location without attracting attention.
