I have channel 1 & 2 of the Colorado National Guard TG-1265 & 1266 what would a CC be up in Larmier County to come up for rescues?
Forest Services TG-1231 CC be?
It's dependent on the location for the rescue operation which sites would carry their communications. Look at wide covarage sites such as Buckhorn, Horsetooth, South Bald Mountain. In some cases the Greeley and Point of Rocks DTRS sites to the East could as well.
Does anybody know what the Sky Crane Helicopters frequencies would be?
Once again we have responses pointing to private companies frequencies.
The
FireFighting "sky crane" helicopters (The earlier thread name is unfortunate) frequecies are dependent on civilian agencies involved for coordination during an intial incident, National VFire VHF channels in most cases will be active. USFS frequencies if it involves National Parks and Forests, National Interagency Fire frequencies in the 16x and 17x Federal frequency range anytime the Federal Government is involved in firefighting operations.
As incidents have occured in the past persons monitoring the situation will post information on the VHF aircraft frequencies in use here in the Colorado forum.
VHF aircraft frequencies vary per incident.
I expect one of our locals will be posting information regarding tanker base and regional operation frequencies.
