Combining 800mhz and 160mhz in same coax

I would like to combine signals from 2 antenna's, 800 mhz and 160 mhz into one string of lmr400 coax.
How can I do this with minimum signal loss.

Use a diplexer and you'll have practically zero loss. Here's a $20 one that have a crossover frequency of 250MHz so that everything above 350MHz and below 180MHz are mixed together in one coax, or one coax split into two with different frequency bands, as it isn't directional.
Remember that frequencies between 180MHz-310MHz will not work to receive thru the diplexer and you will also need pigtails or adaptors to match the diplexers SMA connectors to the coaxes.

You can search for a source of diplexers in US if the shipping from europe are too high, but then the total will anyhow probably be much more as I haven't seen any US ones that doesn't cost ten times more.

Yes. It is capacitors in series with the signal and chokes to ground and stray capacitance should only start to have an impact at several GHz. I can sweep and measure the filter up to 1.3GHz and there where no issues up to that frequency.

It's a standard type of combined lowpass - highpass filter that you can build yourself for $5 if you can get the components and something to attach them to and then add connectors and.... Well, $20 seems reasonable enough to have it done for you.

A computer simulation of the diplexer frequency response is attached. From the plot it appears to be a fifth order Tchebycheff filter with 0.5dB ripple. The loss at 800 MHz is a few tenths of a dB.
