I welcome the replies, but only if they are complete, that don't raise more questions. What ever happened to step by step, detailed instructions? I see that all over, not just here. People assuming the person asking the questions has the same level of experience as they have which is rarely correct.
I re-named the top line of both the same, I made the 1st group Quick Key #1, the trunked system did not have that option. That didn't work, so I then went to the 2nd line on both groups, did the same there including adding the missing QK number the the trunk group. That apparently locked out the 1st group, the only one that could scanned was the trunk group, so I undid that and back to square one which is nowhere.
