I am very happy with my cx-333. 6.5 dB on 146, 8 dB on 223, and 9 dB on 445 MHz. 120 watts power max. Vswr at less than 1.5. Weighs maybe 3 1/2 lbs. Just get it up in the air.

I found Comet's antenna gain figures are referenced to something like a wet Yo-Yo string or maybe a large green bean.

Since both antennas are a similar length the gain is probably not drastic between the two on 2m and 440 but the Comet does have 220. I have a CX333 for temp portable use and am happy with its performance.
