The SDS200 w/DMR upgrade picked up a hit from flower mound in Comanche County, a digital tone was all i heard. I looked to see why it didn't decode and i see a 1 DMR hit in the log complete with CC and Slot number but no TG. It tagged 1 DMR hit out of 14 consecutive hits.

I looked up the hit in RR to identify it from the system listed below.

Frequency License Type Tone Alpha Tag Description Mode Tag
154.32500 KNNN831 BMFlower Mound FD Fire Tactical FMN Fire Dispatch

It doesn't show DMR for this entry as you can see by the screenshot above. This system is set to ID Search in the SDS200. I's anyone else receiving this in the Lawton area.

Are you sure it was Flower Mound (licensed as an analog simplex base station) and not something else?
Don't trust the FCC database for emission types. Many systems have switched to DMR without being updated in the database.

nd5y,

Nailed it! I couldn't see the forest for the trees. It's actually a site 12 miles from me. Funny thing, its in another favorites list and that list is active and never it made a sound., and its programed as a DMR. Go figure Thanks for the obvious answer.
