I went to correct a minor error in that section, and due to what the database takes for updates, I essentially had to redo sections...so I ended up reformatting and adding quite a bit. Please take a look and update your scanners if nessesary.
I did NOT include any of the direct channels for the new repeater capable channels. The only difference is in the naming...ie: UTAC1 and UTAC1D is the same output freq (no need to put the same channel in twice..we don't do it for repeaters anywhere else, so its not going in there!) This will help eliminate many duplicate channels for those who use software that grabs the database information.
I also included all the federal interop channels. I tagged these as federal due to its nature of being a primarly federal plan, and not generally meant for non-federal responders. If you use a PSR or Home Patrol, you may want to consider adding in the Federal tag if you live near one of the national parks of Wyoming and the border states (and their parks).
Please note under the VHF common section (as well as other areas) that there are wideband and narrowband channels. Any channel with a "W" in it can be both wideband and narrowband. I listed those just as wideband (for now) as there is no freq difference and will avoid duplicate scanner for those database software users. When rebanding is in full effect natiowide, it will be changed to reflect the same (not saying that your local agency actually changes it....)
At some point I will add the 700MHz channels, but those can be a pain to decipher and add in. There are quite a few. I don't see us using them in Wyoming, but you never know what comes along or might be added at a future date.
All three sections are valid nationwide if you take your scanner on trips. As we have many different federal agencies here in the state, and surrounding states, these could be used at any time.
Comments, concerns, questions?
