Has happened in NC where an am station had their towers toppled. Under investigation by multitude of agencies. Knowledge of towers and LARGE wrenches to take bolts out are suspected. Idiots

If nothing else, wouldn't be the first time a tower has been vandalized by the 5G crazies. They've been at it for a while now
Its happening here too. Not long ago they set a fire at the base of a HV power line tower, that had a small equipment box at its base which contained line monitoring gear, nothing to do with telephone comms.

Last I heard was that the 5G rollout here would include small units on various power poles down suburban streets.

Now whether or not they'd set fire to the power pole outside their own home

I recall an incident in the late 80's or early 90's in Itasca ,Illinois in which a cellular one free standing tower was toppled. The culprits loosened the bolts at the bottom of the tower. So it does occur more than we probably hear about.

Old amalgam fillings would sometimes act like a non-linear joint and start receiving AM stations if you were in close proximity to a transmitter. Pretty rare, but reports of it happening. I've read that it would drive people nuts. Usually the filling would get removed and replaced with something non-metallic.
Going way back but Lucille Ball mentioned this happening to her when she was on Johnny Carson if I recall. Weird stuff.

Our law enforcement officials take tower vandalism quite seriously as a 5G kook typically doesn't know the difference between a tower hosting cellular carriers and one hosting public safety equipment. Wouldn't take much to take them off the air.

I think we should not refer to it as vandalism, but use the domestic terrorism tag. Way too serious to call them vandals. Actually, the best result is not the prison, it's the civil recovery of costs. It will be a drain on their income for many years if the courts do it correctly. House, car, possessions could all be seized and sold.

Yep - but in the UK it sort of sits there till people grow up and get a decent job, then it kicks in. Impacts on getting mortgages and loans. Many of these idiots are young and have no assets, but eventually most do want a normal life.

Did the 4G kooks retire?

No, they just find something new:

Here's what I've experienced:
Any cellular —> Any WiFi —> "Smart Meters" —> 4G —> 5G —> ??? (They usually don't know, just waiting on someone to tell them what to be outraged about next).

I had to go through that stuff at work, sitting in the meetings with those nutjobs. There's zero technical knowledge, they only regurgitate what they are told by "experts". Like, where have we seen that before...

Call it vandalism, call it terrorism, whatever.
It's a mix of fear, to the point they'll do stupid stuff, or just pure ignorance. Neither one can be punished or educated out of them. They chose their "expert" off the millions available on the internet and will die defending their choice.
The best you can hope for is that they don't harm anyone else in the pursuit of their own brand of stupidity.
Eventually the stupidity catches up with them, they take themselves out, or they fry their brain with the constant fear and anger.

Karma will dole out her justice one day on these idiots. Let's do the math.....tower weight, 250000 pounds, human idiot, 200 pounds, import car, 2500 pounds. Adds up to one big greasy spot in the field! Surprised they didn't get RF burns trying to do the deed

I always wondered why they aren't afraid of wireless battery charging.
