Compactenna with Trunk Lip NMO Mount

Does anyone have any experience with the Compactenna 2M/22/440 on an NMO trunk lip mount? My plan is to mount the antenna on the driver side midway between the front and back edge of the trunk lid. The research I have found usually use magnet mounts, with one video stating the SWR was "all over the place" with a trunk lip mount. Any input is appreciated.

It works well and the COMPACtennas favor the edge of a groundplane for the VHF band that might cause matching problems with other antennas. I've used the tri-band amateur, Scan III and LMR-1 on a trunk lip mount.
