Computer Control for Pro 197

Hi, folks. I'd like to set up a Pro 197 for a disabled friend who will need to operate it via his desktop and a mouse. Any suggestions for the best program, please? Thanks.

+1 for Win500, it just works, very straightforward, no drama involved.

You also may want to try ARC500 by Butel. I use it on my 106 (portable version of the 197). It is easy to program and easy to use. Your friend will need the transfer cable in order to upload the frequencies to the scanner.

Thanks folks. He won't be doing any programming; I'll do it for him. So it's really to scan, stop, switch banks, volume, etc.
