Premium members have access to various search options in the database, notably in this case the ability to search trunked system ID's. 286 popped right up matching all of the data you stumbled upon.

I went to trunking data queries and went to query by system id and put in 2867 didn't think I have put that 7 in there. I wasn't getting nothing. I went to DEC side and put in 286 than 2 systems came up :unsure:

7 is the Site ID, not the System ID, so you don't put that into search. Two systems came up for 286 DEC, however one is NXDN, obviously not what you found. Anyway.

Not for nothing but.....

Its pretty easy to find the system in question on the RR DB by searching Trunking Data Quaries as you did. Just type in the system ID and the systems will display like you did. Only one of them is DMR like GTR mentioned so theres your awnser.

But, on the otherhand DSD+ can be misleading for some users. On the botom it says "Site: 287-7". Well what some users dont know is that the system ID is actuly 287 while the site is actuly 7. So yes it can be misleading and lead users to beleve that 2877 is the entire system ID or site and search that but that would be wrong.

All and all glad you found what you were looking for and im not knocking it im just pointing out that DSD+ can be misleading sometimes and further clarification is needed. There are also a few trickes for searching the RR DB. Honestly, it would be great if DSD+ could desern System ID from Site ID not in the same string but that would prob rewquire a major code rewrite.

I'll add something additional regarding using the Trunked search with the system ID. In some cases a DMR T3 system will be listed with its Network Model:

T=tiny
S=small
L=large
H=huge

What I'm saying here doesn't apply to MCA, since MCA is a Connect Plus system.

For DMR T3 sites, the database allows admins to add the Network Model to the Network ID (aka System ID) so that it could be added as S1 (combined Network Model Small and Network ID 1) such as this system:

If you were to then go to the downloads page on the above system and download the DSDPlus stuff, it would include the S model information in it.

But not all admins have added the Network Model to all of the T3 systems in the DB, sometimes because they might not know any better, and sometimes because nobody has submitted the Network Model.

I guess my point is just to say that depending on what you are looking for, JUST typing in the Decimal system ID might not reveal anything for you. If it's a DMR T3 system or a NEXEDGE system, it has a network model and might be listed in the DB with or without the network model prefix when you do a Decimal System ID Search.
