Does anyone have an up to date frequencies for Concord PD? I have the following frequencies from the RR database of; 460.15000, 460.25000, and 460.55000. I got these frequencies programmed but I am not getting anything during the scan around Concord.

Btw... I am using Uniden BC346XT hand held.

Please help.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

Where are you located? You may not be able to receive them based on your antenna setup.

The frequencies in the database are current.

I live in Martinez. I was able to pick up Pittsburg PD and not Concord PD. Seems very odd. I was also in City of Concord when I did the scan and nothing was coming through. I was there for about 1 hour.

PL tone? Where and how would find that out on my scanner? How do I change it on my scanner? Sorry, I am a newbie on this.

Ok, I found the PL tone on my scanner. I put the PL tone of 127.3 for all three frequencies that they use. Still not able to get anything. I am able to get the surrounding area. What am I doing wrong?

Well, seems to be a mystery. You have already turned off the tone squelch by putting it into search. This leads me to think your radio is not able to hear. Can there be something de-sensing the unit? 99.979% chance that there not be.

I'd be curious is you are able to hear Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek. If you can... Try entering in duplicate entries for Concord. Might be something in the memory where those entries are? As a last resort.... Save your programing and do a complete reset of the unit? Then see if entering in just Condord produces positive results.

Keep us advised.

Also double check what mode they are. Should be FM or NFM.

Update

Ok, it is working now. I downloaded the frequencies from the RR database and working like a charm. I did not troubleshoot it why it did not work before.

Thanks for all the help.

That's good. Must have had a typo or a brain fart in the data in the radio.

Concord will eventually move to EBRCS in the next couple of months. For now, they are still on their conventional UHF channels.
