Confused about programming RS PRO-97

Need some clarification on programming PRO-97. Can I program standard VHF freqs. in a bank with EDACS? I understand that EDACS has to start at ch.1 in whatever bank I use, but if the EDACS only needs 5 channels out of that bank, I hate to waste the other 95 channels. Please give me some advice. I have figured out that you can mix VHF and MOTOROLA freqs. in the same bank, but wasn't sure about VHF and EDACS.

Yes you can mix, but EDACS must be first and in LCN order, then your conventional frequencies. Also the same applies to LTR trunking.
