BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Confusion about broadcast tool

I read the easier to read manual and the actual manual and I am confused about the broadcast tool to block frequencies.

When you set a band to "on" in the broadcast screen, is that blocking turned on? I was just confused about what turning these "on" or "off" meant.

I want to make sure that when the band is set to "on" that it will be blocked.

Also, will this block these when using conventional discovery? Just checking!

Gary, yes I was confused the first time I saw it too. I wasn't sure if I was turning on the filter to block it or if I was leaving that band turned on. But it does block the band when it is turned on.

As for the question about does it block that band in the Discovery Mode, I really don't know? I haven't used that mode a whole lot yet but I keep planning on using it. That is a good question.

Ah ok thanks for the clarification I appreciate it. Haha yes it's definitely an amazing scanner but some of it is a bit confusing! xD
