Connecting cable

Does anyone have a schematic for making a cable to connect my radio to my computer, 3.5mm stereo male to usb 2.0 male without a charging circuit? I have to connect to my sound card via usb. I have no mic in on my computer.

You would likely do better with a USB sound card. That's the unfortunate part of these newer laptops - no mic in, so you have to work around it. I'm at work right now, but if you google it, you'll come up with it. And I'm sure others will jump in with specific models and/or brands.

Are you trying to connect a desktop or portable radio to your PC or a SDR? The methods of connection are very different.
