Contra Costa usage of 460.100 PL 203.5

Been hearing traffic on this channel which appears to CoCo Sheriff traffic down in the Crow Canyon or San Ramon area.. Radio Ref says this is a court frequency for the SO but I don't think it is being used for that now since the court folks are on EBRCS now.

This was a UHF relay of the VHF traffic for court services. The repeater was on top of 725 Court Street downtown. I used to have to turn it back on after power failures because there was no back up power supply

It may still be active for that purpose but I don't know why you'd hear it that far south. How strong was it? There may have been a second repeater at the Walnut Creek courthouse but I didn't work there much to know for sure.

Looks like its a UHF relay for Valley Fire to communicate with S/O on VHF. Must have been for interop. Never hear it active before.
