I have A bc780xlt scanner, how do you input the CC,the book is no help to me,do you have to clear the scanner and then put in the CC, I am lost any help would be helpful.thank you

I suppose I could retype what page 37 in the manual states, it states it rather clearly there. After you put the CC(s) in, refer to page 57 and turn CC only mode ON. You must know which PLAN the system you want to monitor fits under. You can find this out by looking at the frequencies in the system and matching it up with the most appropriate type listed on page 57.

No you don't need to clear the scanner, but you'll be confused if more than one active frequency is programmed in the same bank you are programming the trunked system in, unless you are familiar with the 780.

First, you should let us know what system you are trying to listen to, the cc only mode might not be available for whatever system you are trying to monitor...

Thank you for the response,the system Iam trying to monitor,is the Mass. state Police the scanner will scan typ2-800,typ-1fleet,typ2-900. I am new at this and find the book lacking detail.

I think I will keep it on conventional system, the book is lacking detail for me, ( Quincy Ma.)
