After a year, I finally got to a location with my Vhf G5 where there was a DMR station. The only DMR station in my area is UHF.
I am astounded at the clarity of the received auto — totally superior to my “scanners.”
I just hope for a wildcard function to become available for CC, slot, and talkgroup.
I live in a relatively remote area with no 800 activity, minimal 450, and virtually all VHF conventional except for two state systems, one P25 and the other Smartzone. So proving the DMR function works was a special “treat.”
