Any PS people out there notice if now that a dept is encrypted if they are talking differently?

Kinda like yeah go grab that guy or something along those lines? Somehting they wouldn't say over open air? LOL

ps what was the deal with monroe. I know that people had asked about ems not hearing psyc calls, but I can say that with yesterdays incident at 25/111, that they do have a pd portable on the rig.

The only way they would have a portable on the ambulance is if a police officer was on board. Other than that they can't listen to PD. The mobile radios they put in the ambulances can't do ADP encryption, they went with Kenwood mobiles with digital so they could listen to PD, that didn't work out to good for them LOL

Thanks cskib. I know with the incident on 25/111 last week with the pshyc and the roudy family the emt said he would contact mpd on their end which could only mean that disp shut the enc off to talk to ems for a moment. Never knew monroe to be that strict. Different era different officers. Maybe too much chatter at the local diner. LOL.

Joey, Just wondering if they're more vocal on the radio and are relying less on calling in, now that we can't hear them anymore. Just curious! Where did you take that pic?

We do our coffee orders and other stuff secure, but again, its nothing that anyone is going to hear.
