I have a toughbook CF-29 that I rarely use that is 1.60ghz, 2GB of RAM and a 60gb hard drive.

It currently runs windows 7.

My work apps are all apple and I was thinking of converting the toughbook to Apple iOS. Is this possible and what are the recommendations for Apple software?

Also,

Do I need a product key?

CF-29 OS

I also have a CF-29 Toughbook, but had some issues with Apple OS. Namely the loss of the touchscreen, GPS and cellular wireless.

Now I just run Win7 and Linux Mint on it.

If you do get Apple OS working, let me and others know.

Running Windows on Apple computers is a lot easier than doing the reverse.

i would avoid Mac OS for a 29, like PAC says, you lose some key functions the 29 is designed for, because the drivers are simply not available.

Linux would be a better alternative.

and yup, boot camping or dual booting a Mac book is FAR easier than the latter.

I'm not really worried about the touch screen or cellular. I just need wifi and access to the App Store and the ability to use apps for work. I'm not in the position to buy a Mac book now and selling my toughbook wouldn't yield much money.
