Does anyone know if CMFD is using another system than CCCS? I haven't been able to monitor them for awhile now. Seems to have happened right around when they were in the temporary station while the new one was being built. Now the only time I hear them is for mutual aid calls into the surrounding cities

Costa Mesa is still operating on the County system-South Cell.

Ideas/Options:
Make sure you do not have all the control channels in one bank. Create a bank for Countywide with it's 4 control channels. Create a bank for the South Cell, etc.

South Cell has rebanded from the 866-869 freqs to the 851-854 freqs. Those should be updated in the database. You also need to ensure you edit the custom tables for rebanded operation. All cells with the exception of the Countywide has rebanded; shifted down 15MHz to the new NPSPAC band. Each cell/bank will need to have the custom trunking tables.

Costa Mesa 3A & 3B only reside on the South Cell along with OCFA Santa Ana 3C-3E. Laguna Beach FD is allowed to have 5H roam on the South in addition to the Laguna Cell.

Nope as the freqs in the updated database have the correct info.
Just make sure your scanning the correct site and have service types enabled for what you want to monitor.
