Union County Hotline remains in use, though rarely Elizabeth will be on it as they use SPEN since most of those fleeing anything in Elizabeth will be heading that way. But I have heard almost every other town on it when needed.

The Union County Alarms on the ICS system is used all the time as well as Middlesex's Hotline which is used daily. The Middlesex County one is patched into the Middlesex County Trunking system so you'll hear traffic from all over the county.

Same thing with Morris. They use MIRS-1 on the TRS for the base to base but will multicast over SPEN-1 for NJSP and all the other outside agencies, Feds, etc. Hudson County uses HC-LERN on the NJSP Smartzone TRS. Newark always comes up on SPEN-1 because Essex County does not have a hotline for PD, but you’ll hear ECSO multicast bolos over their channel 5 and
Prosecutor 1 all the time.
