Coventry Airport

Hi! Some of you guys in America may not know where Coventry is, so it's roughly in the centre of England.
I live about 5-8 miles which is about a 10-15 minute drive in the car from Coventry Airport. Do you think I will be able to pick up aircraft and air traffic control from where I am?

You wil be able to hear aircraft without any problem. Whether you can hear the controllers is dependent upon the terrain, antenna heights etc.
Try these frequencies - ATIS 126.05, Tower 119.250, 124.800 Ground control 121.700, RADAR service 122.000

Yes, you will be able to hear them, as Dan mentioned in the previous post depending on your radio, antenna and terrain factors. Try ATIS first this is a constant transmitting signal that is good to use when trying different antennas or antenna locations. Happy Holidays
