Well it sounds like all the Creek County Deputies are on the state's 800 now. I think they left 155.7 open for the small towns but they are not simualcast like I thought they would be. So there you have it...

actually they have been on for about 3 months. but whats weird is they dont dispatch on it.they still use vhf to dispatch and the cars use the 800. beats me? at first about actually 5 months ago they were using 27408 to chit chat on,now they do that on 27440.i dont listen to them much though so for al i know they may have started disptching on 800???

Basically, our supervisor told us to dispatch all calls on VHF unless deputies tell us they are on 800. I usually will call them on VHF, and if they answer on CRK SO 7A I will give them the call on that, but not all of the deputies have 800 handhelds, so once they are out of the car, You have to start talking to them on VHF. Both the 800 and 155.7 radios are stacked on top of each other too, so you have to lisen to the sound quality of the transmission to tell which one they're on. It is very confusing, to say the least. the CRK SO 7B is used to chat car-to-car, kinda like the Tulsa CO side C.

JM, The Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement in Olive; Drumright PD would be the 911 center for that area.
