Hard to keep a handle on this troop. :)

I hear Denver is now dispatching 4C units on TG #8100. Is it still the case that TG 8106 (noted as 4C East in RRDB) is unused?

Any intel on why the change?

And,,,, I hear 4C troopers when they go on duty that they'll be in "Area 2" or "Area 3",,, etc. Anyone have the geographic areas of the "Area"s to share?

Time to update my CSP map.

Thanks.

I wouldn't be in a hurry to update your map,

I've been hearing 4A patched with 4C the past couple of days off of the Lookout Site. This may be temporary.

In the past CSP dispatch centers have been used as backups in covering other dispatch centers for various reasons such as technical issues, power failures, staffing etc..

It's likely temporary due to staffing in Craig. Started first of the year. They will eventually return to being dispatched by Craig.
They did something similar last year where staffing at Montrose was short, and Craig was dispatching San Juan County.
Apparently 4C East is still valid, but rarely used - probably due to dispatcher shortages. I think Area 1 is Garfield & Pitkin Co, Area 2 is Eagle Co, and Area 3 is Summit & Lake Co.

Thanks Chuck.... I suppose it's a good thing CSP can work any troop from any dispatch center. But on the other hand short staffing is no good either.
