Ct D.O.T question

Would anyone know what area the DOT zones are in? I hear them saying zone numbers when they do the weather roundups.

DOT info

The maps shown are not weather zones. There are 7 weather zones originaly developed by Charlie Bagley of travelers weather service to show the 7 distinct climatic zones of CT. DOT is broken down into 4 DISTRICTS with District offices at Rocky Hill, Norwich, New Haven and Thomaston. Weather zones are roughly 1 greater Hartford 7 is northwest hills 4 and 5 along coast. will check others
