Current Propagation Conditions

[N3FSH]

Going back to 1991 was last time N3FSH was active on 10 and 16 meter bands. Conditions were fantastic, even with my 50 watt Ten Tec to a double dipole from a sunken garden in the Georgetown section of Washington, DC.

Received QSL cards from 150 or so countries, a swath from east coast US to japan, and (with polar flutter) S2+ into Australia, NZ.

Hamming and SWL'ing still favorites, even with ferocious RFI.

Topic of this email: how are 10 and 15 this summer of 2014? If even occasionally decent, I'll get "back in the game." 73.

10/15 haven't been that good here this summer. But that will change the last week of September into October. Last year 10m opened up in late September and provided good DX up until April of this year. Since we are not that much past the peak of this solar cycle, there should be a couple more years of good conditions on 10/15.
