Does anyone here have the astro P25 info for Broward County and Miami-Dade County? I know the common settings for the 762.006250 and 851.01250 when in phase 2 and im just wondering if its different or do they use the common frequencies? I am up here in Maryland and will be down that way soon so I want to program my harris radio for that area
Thanks.

You're looking for the IDEN table info. Using the correct terminology may be helpful.

Otherwise known as the ASTRO 25 Channel ID table in Motorola software.

Scanner wont care...

He is trying to program a radio for non-affiliate scan, which does care about the Iden tables. Why is asking for these such a source of contention in these forums? Seems just about every time someone asks for them, the posts get filled with "get a scanner" or "run unitrunker on the system". This is not practical for someone who wants to travel to an area and take the time to properly program the radio ahead of time. The other option is to rush and potentially make errors when they arrive.

I get its a scanner site, but the correct operation of NAS is promoted here. This info is (on most systems) broadcasted openly on the control channel, so why not log it into the databases for those who want to properly (and have the correct skillset) to do NAS safely? Its a very trivial piece of info to snag off the air for those in the footprint of the system as well. For folks that are travelling, not so much.

Input frequencies are not hidden on conventional (along with PL/DPL which scanners also technically DONT need) so I would argue if its done for security of the trunked system, that is in conflict to how conventional info is handled.

I’m wondering the same thing for Miami/Dade I need to figure out the Harris P25 base frequency and since I’m 300 miles away I can’t go the United we route.

RR contributors in the area can easily add this data to the wiki associated with the system. I'd guess the reason that it is not routinely done is because in most cases it is not necessary to be pre-programmed for P25 reception with consumer equipment. More of a nice-to-have data point. It is not a security concern as the data derived / published is publicly available from other sources in most cases.

Astro channel ID the channel spacing has to be set to 12.5 instead of 6.25 the base frequency is 851.0000

under trunking system
Smartzone is enabled
omilink enabled make sure the RFSS is 66
Motorola proprietary feature unchecked
WUID validity checked

it’s working like charm.

Harris P25 systems do not use common base frequencies

Harris P25 systems do you use the common Motorola base frequency or channel spacing.
