I noticed DART has a P25 system, buses. They also have an OpenSky, which I assume DART police (and maybe rail) is/was on.

Opensky is ancient, and being phased out. Does anyone know if DART is still using Opensky?
Where can I find DART PD and DART rail?

Looks like the transition from OpenSky to P25 Phase-II is ongoing or has already happened as talkgroups for DART Police were added to the database today. Not sure if rail ops would be included in any of the "DART All" categorized talkgroups or not but evidently bus ops are. Might want to enable ID Search if your scanner supports it to catch undocumented talkgroups if they exist...

The long and short of it is that DART is moving off of OpenSky, mainly because of the Anterix Rebanding of the 930MHz spectrum, and the OpenSky system is somewhat end of life.

It is likely that all aspects of DART (with the exception of the rail operations operating on BNSF/UP/CPKC tracks which will have to remain on VHF) will be on the new P25 system once fully operational. Rail in particular is the likely reason for the "leaky coax" site in the Mockingbird Tunnel, as well as the low powered site at the DFW airport train stations.
