Danecom - new encrypted talk groups

At least based on the online broadcastify hosted trucked system, it appears law enforcement cannot be heard on DALAW1 and DALAW3. occasionally you can still hear dispatch say an occasional message on those talkgroups, but no actual dispatching or conversation. I didn’t see any news about a move towards encryption in a cursory search online. It also appears this has been in effect since the evening of 2/26. Is this an issue or bug with the site/TGs, or encryption?

Dane Law 1 is coming in loud and clear from my house with my scanner. No encryption showing up at all.
My assumption is a problem with the broadcastify node

Dane Law 1 TG 13001 has been working just fine on my scanner. Scanner on 24/7 with no issues.

According to the archives, while not heard often they are still heard.

It could be the Node does not have enough bandwidth to cover all the Danecom frequencies. Even if they have more than one SDR if they are also trying to catch Madison it may struggle and miss traffic.

I was in Dane County at least 2 if not 3 different times this week with my sds100 and heard them loud and clear. I even hear them as far south as New Glarus when i'm in the car.

As a user of DA LAW 1, it is not encrypted nor have I heard any sort of rumblings or rumors of it going so.

Per the MOU they can't be encrypted.

From the programming database:
"***Encryption on any Talk Group is not allowed unless noted in column I. Please contact the RSA if you desire encryption*** "
