154.175 DPL 023 was the former dispatch repeater, but they moved over to P25 on 159.2175 in the last years.

Changing former Dispatch 154.175 repeater to 155.3175 (still licensed as Analog Narrowband, not P25) and adding more 155.3175 repeaters as DMR only).

The current dispatch repeater 159.2175 (Analog narrowband removed, no P25 digital, only DMR) and more repeater locations added as DMR)

6 Total repeater locations for each Repeater, some with different output power.

One of the Danville Firefighters told me last year that the department wasn't happy with P25 (mainly coverage and interoperability) and had talked about moving to DMR, which would allow them to more easily communicate with Danville EMS (currently on Analog) and Police/Sheriffs (currently on DMR). Again, this was almost a year ago. Looks like they made their decision...

Listening when passing through today I still heard 159.2175 P25 in use.

On the way back I put 155.3175 in my scanner and heard digital in use but by the time I inputed it into my DMR radio the transmissions were over. All I know is it was not P25.

I don't know if the two are patched together or not.

To my knowledge they're still working on the system and haven't moved over yet. I don't know exactly what the hold up is, but I know they're working on it.

Yes digital scanners with DMR are able to pick them up.

I assume the Danville P25 repeater is no longer in use?
