Data Cable for Pro-96

I have found that www.pccables.com is a good inexpensive source for all sorts of cables.

My problem is that I don't know the technical description of the data cable for the Pro-96. The one RS sells has a 9 pin connector on one end but apparently a USB would work also.

What is the plug on the scanner end called? It looks like a mono headphone plug.
