Heard today that all state units are now encrypted on data dispatch still in the clear so far

ENC here in NCC also....and Kent as I see enc roll by on the Unitrunker screen.

3 less TG's to tie up the radio....

And the County police have followed suit encrypting DATA-C.

Heard last night town pd was trying to talk to dsp road unit town could not hear them suscom advised town unit that state units are now enc on data and they the town radios will be upgraded also noticed an increase of dsp units using enc on dispatch

It would appear that all of the state/county PD TAC channels are strapped to ENC now also. Have a listen in SSX and see. This is a pretty major change if it is true.

Same here in sussex road state units are enc but dispatch is clear pma was enc 100 percent the other night
