What are the qualifications for a Database Administrator? I realize they must be very knowledgeable I was just wondering what I needed to strive for to someday be an Administrator.

this would be something lindsay would decide. if he needs more help, i would think he would start looking at people who he trusts, knows what he expects, etc.
on a side note... i too am hoping to one day be an admin for this site (since i have appropriate qualifications) and my current environment is not in need of alot of administrative attention (imagine that, a network with no problems at the present time *fingers crossed*). however im not giving my hopes up. like i said, if lindsay needs the help, and he sees that i fit his criteria and expectations, im sure he will contact me via e-mail or private message
