database update question.

occasionally when I open the frequency database for NC I see the counties in green which of course represents a recent update.
my question is how do I know what the changes were, and how do I know if it requires me to update my scanner data?

Click on the county. When the county page opens, look at the top under the blue bar. You will see: Last Updated: Month DD, YYYY Time. Mouse over the date for a popup with information on what was updated or click on the date for more details on the update.

The Downloads and Reports tab on the county page shows what was updated.
