Davidson Co. gone digital?

Davidson Co. has disappeared.

The school buses and Lexington PD are still there, but everything else is gone.

Does anyone know if they have moved to VIPER or a new P25 system?

hello,i listen to davidson county a lot. it is all the same. no digital,however ems and county fire have a bridge on thomasville 8oo system. all ems ,county fire is on vhf. sheriff is on uhf. hope this helps. dont have a clue about school buses.

Davidson Co. Conventional Frequencies

Thanks Rev. I will load up the Thomasville trunked system later and see if I can find the DCSO.

The school buses are still loud and clear on 453.25.

The Sheriffs are gone from 460.075, 460.3125 and 460.375. Nothing on any of these frequencies.

I have heard a couple of radio checks on the main Davidson Co. Fire frequency of 154.16, but they sound weak like they are from another department. I'm receiving Morse ID's on Fire Tac 4, 154.4. Strong signal, so the transmitter is still working.
No dispatch traffic of any kind. Nothing on any of the other VHF fire frequencies.

Nothing on EMS Dispatch 155.235. This frequency is usually very active 24/7.

DUH! I feel like an idiot!

DUH!

I had all the dispatch channels locked out!

I forgot I had locked them out on Friday when the DCFD was dispatched to my workplace for a false alarm. I locked them out so I would not miss any action on the fireground channel. This PRO-95 scanner does not remove lockouts when you turn it off like my PSR-500 does.

Sorry if I panicked anyone in Davidson Co. into buying a digital scanner! :->

larry-i may have made you misunderstand-sheriff is only on 460.075 . on thomasville police and fire-ems and county fire are simulcast on what they call a bridge.have no clue why. however,i have a digital scanner,and it is great around here for highway patrol and other counties-like the one you live in-. i love winston salem-forsyth broadcasts.
