I know that Owensboro and Daviess County has gone fully encrypted on their trunking system. The interesting thing is they are simulcasting the county fire dept response talk group on 155.8950, but they aren’t simulcasting the paging (the actual dispatches) on that frequency. Does anyone know if that is being broadcasted on another frequency, or why it’s setup this way? Essentially you can hear the fire units responding and dispatch talking to them, but you never hear the initial page. It also looks like AMR has stopped using their conventional frequencies.
