Hey guys, another DEA question. This afternoon the F6 repeater was pretty busy today with P25 traffic but it didn't seem like the frequency was used by the DEA. It did not lock on to any NAC tones but I could tell by the sound of the transmissions that it was digital traffic. Are there any other agencies that use the 409.6750 frequency in or around the miami area?

Here in San Antonio the DEA is very busy on 409.8125 P25 and they just last year started using this as their primary so they can be anywhere in the uhf fed band

That's what I was thinking based on what I was hearing but didn't think to cross reference it in the database. I heard some communication on the other new DEA channels but I'm going to cross reference that too. The only real DEA comm I heard was on channel 4 but it was simplex. Any other frequencys common for miami DEA that anyone is aware of?

W/O the NAC, it [assume] does sound like you have the BoP trunk of Sys B136

DEA has only begun migration to the new channels, and I don't recall seeing an Reports from FLA of the new channels as yet - except along the Northern Border of the State.

Since you heard then last week on the OLD DEA Ch.-04, it's sounds like they are still using the old System in your area.

If they do end up migrating to the new channels what would happen to the BoP frequencies? And would listening to he actual control channels give more comms than the system itself.. I've scanned the fed det center quite often and it never sounded so active than when I was listening to that frequency itself.
