So let me interpret this
The SD card cannot be read by the computer, even when put into an SD card reader. When you start the scanner it does not do anything at all, its just a blank screen.

Is this a correct interpretation? If yes:

Do you have a SD card reader on your computer?
Which Version of Windows do you have?
Have you ever used the right click on your mouse?

You have yet to confirm that the card is properly formatted as FAT/FAT32. Is it?

Try starting over.

Format the card with FAT32
Use the CLEAR USER DATA in Sentinel
Write the user data to the card.

Is this a brand new card you just removed from the package?
If the above answer is no go buy a new CLASS 10 card and start over.
If you can not read the card in a card reader the scanner has nothing to do with this problem at this point.

that didn't work
Format the card with FAT32
Use the CLEAR USER DATA in Sentinel
Write the user data to the card.

Which part of the 3 didn't work
1. Format
2. CLEAR USER DATA in Sentinel
or
3. Write to card

because you can't do 2 or 3 without doing 1, Do you know how to see the SD Card in Windows, it's under Computer and its' specified (?) drive letter.

That is the same problem I have problems with. I got fed up with it after two days and sent in to Uniden. Not worth the headache to me.

Sadman3 would the sd card let you write the data saved in sentinal to the card. If not I email you a copy of one of my scanners and see if that works for you. But that would be latter tonight I have a out of town trip today.
