So I see Austin energy and other agency used gatrrs that are not fire ems or pd why can’t Amazon use it is it cause they can’t afford to go to gatrrs. And if they did there range would probably increase but I got access to gatrrs which is more long distance than Amazon little Motorola walkie talkie GATRRS is the big deal and I can brag cause they don’t have access to public safety radios system so there distance from what I was reading up top from your reply if I’m understanding is short but it’ll increase a lot if they went to gatrrs
Austin Energy is a department of the CoA.So I see Austin energy and other agency used gatrrs that are not fire ems or pd why can’t Amazon use it is it cause they can’t afford to go to gatrrs.
I just wanted to know if those frequencies can be pickup from a distance and if anyone can hear them like from being at Manor.I'm a little confused here, you asked about how to monitor DMR without buying the DMR upgrade then asked if anyone has heard anything on Amazon frequencies. DMR is HUGE on business communications, Most of us who own an SDS have purchased the add on and for very good reason. Most won't steer you wrong when suggesting you buy the add-on. 90% of modern business that use radio are operating on either DMR or NXDN. Uniden wouldn't have made those two upgrades if they didn't see dollar signs! Well there ya go, Uniden is still floating around, employees are putting their kids through college and sending their wives on amazon shopping sprees because they have made a killing off those upgrades ...
Just about all of the DMR identified in the database came from people buying the upgrade and searching the frequencies.
Aren't you the guy that had a meeting with Gov. Abbott over encryption? How did that fly?

Was wondering about that actually, guess it makes sense. It is probably like most Amazon facilities, from various facilities near me it is about a three to 4 block radius at most. Remember, listed limits in FCC database are max, doesn't mean they are running that much.
I guess its my curiousity, what is the interest in listening to an Amazon warehouse? Sounds almost as exciting as picking up tire pressure sensors....
