I've been collecting .wavs of the various two tone paging tones used by vaious fire and EMS departments. Because many of us in my area have commercial radios that can be programmed to open upon a matching page. Handy if you want to ignore all pages except say Allouez fire pages for example. Also some of us are (volunteer) fire/police/ems, ect...
So what is the easiest way to decode them to values in Hz, the equivelant Motorola Quick Call tone values
I found these:
http://www.batlabs.com/qcii.html
http://www.genave.com/mot_quick_call_1.htm
http://www.genave.com/mot_quick_call_2.htm
I was playing with Adobe Audition. It has several windows, there are a couple that seem to make it idea for this type of project.
Has anyone else done a similar project? And what software did you use? Any other tips?
